Craig Sargent Named Head Varsity Baseball Coach

Archbishop Riordan is pleased to announce the hiring of Craig Sargent as its next Head Varsity Baseball Coach.Craig Sargent, a proud product of the Bay Area, graduated from Carlmont High School in 2007. He then honed his baseball skills at the College of San Mateo before furthering his education at Arizona State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications. With a passion for coaching and mentoring, Sargent has dedicated the past several years to shaping the future of youth baseball in the greater Bay Area. His experience includes coaching at Millbrae Little League and working with players through his Sarge’s Heroes organization since 2021.Sargent replaces former head coach Brian Ceinar, who led the program for the last two seasons.“I am incredibly excited to usher in a new era of Riordan baseball, something that will make our alumni and community proud," Sargent said.
