Boys Golfers Qualify for CCS

LOS ALTOS - Three Archbishop Riordan seniors are headed to the Central Coast Section Regional Boys Golf Championships.

Michael Colabianchi '26, Michael Cha '26 and Huy Nguyen '26 each posted quality scores at last Monday's West Catholic Athleitc League Ed Ravenscroft Championship at Los Altos Golf & Country Club and earned a spot in the CCS regional qualifer scheduled for Tuesday at Laguna Seca Golf Ranch.

Colabianchi was particularly strong at the WCAL Championships, shooting a 69 (-2), good for a third-place finish.

Rabbetz '27 Swims Way to CCS

SAN JOSE - Mason Rabbetz '27 is going to represent Archbishop Riordan CCS Swimming Championships in not just one, but two events.

The junior put together qualifying times in both the 50 and 100 Meter Freestyle events at the WCAL Championships last week at Bellarmine to propel him in the section prelims.

The CCS Championship Prelims are scheduled for Friday at 3:30 pm at Independence High School. The CCS Championship Finals are the following day on Saturday at 1:30 pm.
